Volunteering

One of the most important ways you can help is to donate your time and talents. Block walking and knocking on doors, talking to your neighbors, phone-banking, and the list goes on… Nervous that you won’t know what to say or do? Don’t worry, there are usually going to be some volunteers running an event that will help walk you through the process. It’s a great way to get to know some fellow Democrats and make new friends while also helping advance the cause and make a difference.

You can also ask whether the event could use any tangible donations like snacks or bottled water – that is always appreciated. If you’re feeling extra generous and you have some funds to spare, monetary donations are always an option in the top-right of our website here, but we do try to focus on boots-on-the-ground activism here at a Blue Texas.
